Village Baking Co. partnered with Harrison to enhance its brand identity and find a balance between Texas twang and traditional French baking. They aimed to be the quintessential small-town bakery families visit for authentic pastries and a warm atmosphere. The goal was to be a neighborhood bakery celebrating the “patina” of materials as they age.
When imagining the new brand identity, Harrison created a design language that is French food meets Texas hospitality. The logo was redesigned with a wheat icon with an updated font suite, and the brand pattern was developed and is used as the wallcovering throughout the interior. Packaging and print collateral round out the custom design package.
