Velvet Taco, Richardson

Customers can enjoy their globally inspired tacos while getting the edgy, gritty and industrial vibe of the former 1,900 sf gas station built in the early 80’s.  Elements from the site were included in the design decisions incorporating the gas pump canopy and roll-up garage doors refitted with new glass roll-up doors allowing an inside/outside dining experience and party scene. The outdoor patio under the original gas canopy provides an inviting perch to watch the traffic while enjoying your food and feeling the unique character of the locale.  Only thing missing are the pumps. The exterior murals and the infamous Marie Antoinette painting done by local artists have become an iconic element at every Velvet Taco.
