Harrison was tasked with creating a unique and distinctive design solution for Mavern Leisure’s Sports Bar division, through the development of Northwood Sports Bar & Kitchen, situated in the heart of Angel, Islington, London.

We reimagined what a modern-day sports bar should be, moving away from the more familiar cliche, traditional pub, to a premium, feminine bar environment that could be used throughout the day. Due to a central focus on televised sport our design prioritised the visibility and viewing angles of the 15 screens, with a layout specifically designed so that every seat could view a screen.

Beautiful, fauna print wallpaper, printed on soft touch textile backing, with extinct animals mysteriously hidden amongst the fauna, adding some fun and playfulness to the design. Flexible banquette seating with a plush leather finish provided space for larger groups and private events, whilst booth seating with bespoke stitching details creates the perfect spot to hire for smaller groups where every seat is specifically planned and designed to make every customer feel they have their own personal view of the event.
