Abbraccio Design Concept

Brazil

Partnering with a leading US hospitality business, Bloomin’ Brands, Harrison developed a new generation of their Latin American restaurant brand, Abbraccio, which is the international alternative to well established US Carrabba’s brand. The pilot concept for Abbraccio’s was the Curitiba Mall restaurant in Brazil. Harrison assisted the Brazilian build team to actualize the design, ensuring the project mirrored the required brand image and was effective in its mall location.

Abbraccio has an open and flexible space plan with its kitchen at its heart, where the freshness and authenticity of the food is evident. The design has a fresh personality, echoed in a lightness of materials used. Finishes have strong Italian influences, complete with polished marble and natural terracotta earth tones.
