Harrison was tasked with the brand strategy as well as architecture, interior and environmental design for Daddy’s Chicken Shack’s flagship store in Houston, Texas. Alongside the client, Harrison was able to take the beginnings of a new brand and bring their vision to life. This refreshing fried chicken brand combines delicious food and a welcoming environment that embraces everyone.
Daddy’s Chicken Shack is the prime example of an all-American story of success amid a pandemic. The 3,380 square-foot building had previously been a dry cleaner, which was then turned into a thriving restaurant and brand headquarters. It embodies the feeling of a southern porch accompanied by a warm hug.
This first-generation prototype acts as a showroom for franchisees and displays what the brand can achieve. Harrison is proud to be part of their early milestones.
