Located in the heart of downtown Seattle, this multi-level restaurant design redefines the traditional steakhouse through rooftop dining and a strong connection to place. Harrison was engaged to translate a deeply rooted Brazilian churrascaria experience into a contemporary urban restaurant concept that feels both refined and welcoming.

Designed to anchor the space visually and socially, the custom lighting feature enhances the bar experience while reinforcing a refined, urban restaurant design environment.

Strengthening the project’s identity as a destination-driven rooftop restaurant concept, the Next Level Lounge creates a relaxed yet refined setting that transforms the skyline into part of the experience.

Spanning street level and rooftop, the hospitality design creates a seamless guest journey from the city below to the skyline above. At ground level, a prominent corner presence establishes a strong visual identity and street activation, drawing guests inward and reinforcing the brand’s position within Seattle’s competitive dining landscape. Above, the Next Level Lounge introduces an elevated yet relaxed rooftop bar and lounge experience, where panoramic views transform dining into a destination.

Inside, the environment is anchored by exposed concrete and softened through warm wood ceilings, layered textures, and curated moments of craft. An approach that balances modern restaurant interior design with a sense of warmth and authenticity. Signature elements, including the open churrasco grill and expansive Market Table, are positioned as interactive focal points, supporting experiential dining and reinforcing the ritual and theater central to the brand.

Throughout the project, Harrison balanced global brand standards with site-specific challenges, navigating structural constraints, rooftop conditions, and complex building requirements typical of urban hospitality projects. Thoughtful material selections, curated art, and wine displays introduce depth and texture, strengthening the overall brand experience while connecting guests to Brazilian culture in subtle, meaningful ways.

The result is a destination restaurant design that feels grounded yet elevated. Where tradition, architecture, and city views come together to create a memorable and enduring guest experience.

It was such an exciting space to work on. The biggest challenge was creating a cohesive design language that flowed naturally from the ground floor all the way up, making the transition feel seamless. Since the rooftop overlooks the downtown skyline, We wanted to really lean into those views and keep obstructions minimal. Adding green elements on the rooftop ended up being one of the highlights of the design.
