Chicken Shop was a rare chance to rewire expectations, infuse new soul into the quick-serve-restaurant sector, and reposition the brand around unapologetic quality ingredients and flavour — both in terms of food and customer experience.

Brand Transformation: From CHIK’N to Chicken Shop

The transition from CHIK’N to Chicken Shop was more than a name change. It was a total personality flip — one grounded in the brand’s new core essence we called: playful independence – bold, knowing and full of flavour, Chicken Shop doesn’t whisper; it clucks loud. It’s a bit cheeky, a little rebellious, and unmistakably itself.

Channelling Attitude Through Interior and Emotional Design

Our role? To channel that essence into every dimension of the brand experience – and not just visually through interior design, emotionally too.

The interiors reflect the Chicken Shop attitude. Raw, industrial materials — concrete, ductwork, steel — are softened by warm timbers and bursts of yellow accents. Custom graphics don’t just decorate; they declare. Packaging and wall art become talismans of brand identity. Even the smallest gestures — a wink of copy on a napkin, the sass of a sauce label, a unique external projecting sign with a nod of humour and creativity — all are carefully conjured to reinforce the tone: confident, witty, and a little wild.

But this brand transformation goes deeper than aesthetics. We built the entire space around a designed-to-feel-natural flow — intuitive; kinetic; alive. From the magic of the open kitchen to relaxed dining zones that encourage customers to slow down and stay a while; not just eat and leave. It’s fast but never hurried. Branded, but never cold and sterile. A place where every element serves both form and feeling.

And if you look closely, there’s always something to make you smile — a line of copy, a playful sticker, a flash of clever branding shaped like a chicken’s beak… this is quick-service dining re-imagined: personality-rich, deeply intentional, and grounded in joy.

Our mission is to get people thinking about fried chicken in a different way. It doesn't have to be a hangover cure; it doesn't have to be regretful if it's done properly. We want to continue to wow our existing customer base, and that's by not standing still on new product innovation, Harrison have contributed significantly to repositioning the brand and creating a unique and distinctive store environment that puts us well and truly on the map.
