A living tribute to the area’s past, subtly shaped through inspirational design
Reclaimed industrial fittings to reflect a military-inspired detailing.
Storytelling Through Interior Design
Rather than recreate the past, our design vision allows it to surface naturally. The storytelling here is subtle and grounded, revealed through material choices, texture, and tone. Reclaimed industrial fittings sit alongside softer, military-inspired detailing, creating an interior that feels contemporary yet deeply rooted familiar without local nostalgia.
Brand Rooted in Kidbrooke
The name itself became a powerful anchor. Not simply a name, but a point of local connection, which informed the brand’s voice, visual language, and emotional intent. The result is a pub that feels intrinsically tied to its place, a part of Kidbrooke’s evolving story, shaped by where it’s been and where it’s going.
Genuinely Connecting A Community
The Depot is about people and local community. Designed as a calm, welcoming setting for everyday moments, it brings neighbours together in a space that feels effortless and honest. Proof that when history is handled with care, it doesn’t weigh a place down—it gives it meaning.
The name nods to its former life as a WWII storage depot for RAF barrage balloons.
