Inspired by traditional gaucho attire, this detail informed the custom uniform design for Fogo de Chão by honoring heritage and elevating the brand experience.

As part of our ongoing collaboration with Fogo de Chão, our team led the redesign of the brand’s iconic uniforms, aligning appearance with evolving branding strategy, restaurant interiors, and elevated guest expectations. The objective: to create modern hospitality uniforms that honor Brazilian heritage, support staff performance, and reinforce the brand’s premium dining experience.

For the gauchos, we retained the spirit of tradition while introducing tailored enhancements. Inspired by the classic silhouette, the updated design features high-waisted, double-pleated trousers, smocked sleeve detailing, and a subtle palette that complements the restaurant’s interior architecture. Breathable fabrics, refined cuts, and gender-inclusive tailoring bring forward a confident, contemporary look that reflects the gaucho’s unique role as butcher, chef, and storyteller. Position-based color cues and symbolic accessories preserve meaning and pride without veering into costume.

The server uniforms were also refined to elevate the front-of-house experience. Indigo bistro aprons with antique brass accents, chambray shirts, and leather brogues create a visual language of polish and practicality. Every detail was considered through the lens of staff uniform design, supporting comfort, movement, and visual consistency across service touchpoints.

By seamlessly integrating hospitality branding, operational needs, and expressive design, we created apparel that not only reflects the brand’s identity but enhances the total restaurant, proving that great design extends well beyond the plate.
