Harrison redesigned the exterior of the free-standing prototype keeping in mind that the image and elements would have to apply to in-line stores as well. The design took cues from authentic French country style Architecture of Loire origins consisting of wood and stone, charming and inviting signalling freshness, quality & community. The goal was to create a design that communicates a premium and distinguished offer, but that doesn’t alienate customers who want a quick, light option. Adding to the feel of casual and inviting, the exterior patio reinforces the French outdoor eating areas of an Artisan café.
