Where fresh thinking meets fast dining
Bold and vibrant storytelling and identity creates an iconic brand for a Gen Z audience.
Designed for Transformation
The concept was born from the founders’ desire to make sushi more accessible and playful by rolling fresh ingredients into bold, handheld SushiDogs inspired by hot dogs and burritos. The first step was a trial, launching within the intensity of Westfield London. What followed was a rapid learning curve. Guests returned. Word spread. The product proved its appeal. And the ambition evolved shifting toward high-footfall urban locations where office workers and visitors could make SushiDog part of their everyday routine.
A Story of Freshness and Flow
Our role was to translate that energy into space. Not just through food prepared fresh in front of guests, but through an environment that feels open, honest, and alive.
The architecture and design encourages engagement. At the rear, the open prep counter becomes a focal point, a working stage where freshness is visible and the making of sushi becomes part of the experience. Materials are calm but characterful: natural timber, soft curves, and layers of greenery balancing the pace of the city outside. The penny-tiled front counter subtly references grains of rice an understated nod to the brand’s roots.
Designing for a New Generation
The brand’s journey is raw, real, and inspiring which unfolds on a feature gallery wall, connecting emotionally with guests and rooting the space in its founders’ story.
In an age where Gen Z seeks authenticity, local personalised identity, and visual storytelling, SushiDog delivers a space as shareable as it is satisfying. SushiDog is proof that when a clear idea meets thoughtful design solution, even the smallest footprint can make a lasting impression
